As I understand from the trailers, it looks like a repainted theme from “the day the Earth stood still” and “Sunshine”, but with the positive “Journey to the center of the Earth” plot.
Anyone wants a one way ticket to Mars without the Earth being in danger?
… that is one odd thing in that movie … no need for an Earth destruction to find volunteers. Hell, people will even sit on top of a tank full H2 and O2 and light the thing. (Raises hand)
