A beautiful new book, “Hubble’s Universe: Greatest Discoveries and Latest Images” provides the history of the iconic Hubble Space Telescope, explaining some of the greatest discoveries in astronomy. But it’s also a stunning picture book, including some stunning, previously unpublished images from HST. You can see a gallery of some of those images here, and read our full review of the book here.

My only wish would be for an accompanying walk and talk through all or parts of the beautiful book in a DVD or even just available on a website…watching Dickinson screw the piece on the telescope, point out a few things made the experience feel one was there participating in seeing…I love all the bits of video Universe today makes available…could ‘join me in my backyard’ be on DVD’s and some of Nancy Atkinson’s explanations…I’d buy them! Thankyou for Universe Today, VivaT
