Josh Carroll has a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Utah as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Radford University. His research focused on mathematically modeling pulsar spindown dynamics for use in timekeeping technology. He enjoys writing about complex astrophysical concepts in a way that allows everyone to grasp them without desaturating the content, and also about mathematics and the role it plays in our understanding of the universe.
